TRAINEE ESTIMATOR

Based: Head Office

Due to our sustained growth, an exciting opportunity has arisen at UK Waterproofing Solutions Ltd for a Trainee Estimator.

This position would be ideal for someone who would be interested in developing to become an estimator as full training and career opportunities will be available. As a trainee you will assist in the day to day tasks within the estimating department. You will be taken through each step of the estimating process and shadow our estimator throughout your apprenticeship.

You will be based at our head office, including occasional visits to our construction sites which will aid in your development and give you an understanding of how our site teams operate.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Assisting the estimating department in tendering for projects.
• Reading architectural drawings and specifications.
• Registering new enquires onto the system.
• General administrative support to the estimating department where necessary.
• Working with Contracts, Design and Office departments.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Must be organised, self-motivated, methodical with attention to detail.
• Pro-active, flexible approach with an ability to work to deadlines.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Full UK driver’s license.

We offer a competitive salary plus pension and 21 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
