TRAINEE CAD / REVIT TECHNICIAN

Based: Head Office

Full Time

UKWS is currently recruiting for a Trainee CAD / Revit Technician to join their expanding design team.

The role

You will have responsibility for:

• Providing CAD & administrative support to a busy Design team
• Producing integrated design and install drawings in support of the project designer
• Provide support to other internal functions
• Keeping up to date with the latest product development, including any changes in relevant British Standards.
• Monitoring the Design Report against dates and chasing people where required;
• Liaising with Clients and chasing them on status, overdue items and discrepancies;
• Downloading & uploading to document control systems where required or as advised by the Design Manager;
• Ensuring that technical information is transmitted through the Company where necessary.

The ideal canditate should posssess:

• GCSE qualifications (min Grade C in Maths, English and Science)
• Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages
• A Good work ethic with a desire to develop and progress

The following would also be desirable:

• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the Project Team from time to time.  This will be in accordance with the level of training skills and abilities which the job holder has or indeed achieves.

You will be keen and willing to learn and develop in a supportive environment where a strong emphasis is placed on development and training.  Good business communication skills will be essential along with a professional manner.
