Forterra, Desford

Appointed by Buckingham Group Contracting, we were delighted to be carrying out the cladding envelope package on this new brick production building for Forterra. The new factory has doubled capacity at its Desford plant in Leicestershire and makes it the largest and most efficent brick factory in Europe.

UKWS carried out the cladding the main production building and ancillary buildings, including box feeder, crusher and clay prep. We used Marley Eternit fibre cement cladding to the main production building.
